For too many South African citizens, easy access to fresh, clean water is not a reality. In some rural areas, people have to walk for kilometres to reach the nearest water source, fill a container with all they can carry, and make the long journey home again.
Many schools do not have access to running water or adequate storage for reserving water, particularly in areas affected by drought.
We aim to address this issue by providing water storage containers, which are filled using rainwater runoff. These containers serve as a backup solution when municipal water is unavailable or in limited supply.
In partnership with Hippo Roller, we offer a solution that makes it easier to transport water over long distances through the use of a roller.
